Maggie
Maggie’s story is a pretty good reminder that sometimes you just have to give a cat a little time. Originally TNR’d and returned to her colony in 2024, Maggie found herself back in KVK care this summer after being cast out and losing the place where she had been staying. She was terrified of people and spent much of her first month hiding in a pillowcase.
Four months later, the change is pretty incredible. Maggie has discovered that being a house cat comes with some pretty great perks, including neck scratches, cozy places to nap, and plenty of time at the biscuit factory. She’s also one of the biggest purr-ers around! She’s still a little timid, but the cat who once hid her face in a pillowcase is now confidently asking for attention. Now Maggie is ready for the next chapter of her story.
