Our Mission
Giving stray cats and kittens a second chance at life and love!
Kannata Valley Kats Rescue is a 100% volunteer run organization. We are a registered non-profit that helps to provide a safe environment for the feral cats and kittens in Kannata Valley, SK and surrounding area.
Finding homes for these felines is our top priority. We provide all our cats with veterinary care such as spay/neuter surgeries, deworming, vaccinations and tattoo or microchip identification.
An important part of our work is the trap, neuter/spay, and return (TNR) program. This requires a network of volunteers to trap feral cats; transport them to the vet clinic for spay/neuter; provide them with recovery space, then return them to the village colonies. These cats are provided with shelter and year-round feeding by our dedicated volunteers.
